Male, born in 1954. After graduated from Zhanjiang agricultural college, he had been engaging in tea germplasm collection, breeding and cultivar promotion. To date, he has hosted 30 tea projects from the province and Ministry, bred 4 national and 3 provincial varieties totally, and two new cultivars authorized by The State Bureau of Forestry. He gained 10 awards from Guangdong province and the Nation. He has published more than 50 papers and participated in the preparation of 3 scientific books.
