Research Area
(1)Collection, conservation and evaluation of tropical and subtropical ornamental plant germplasm,(2) Intergrated hybrid breeding, mutation-induced and ploidy techniques with genomic, transgenic and bioinformation etc to develop new cultivars for ornamental industry.(3) Environmental physiology of tropical ornamental plants with an emphasis on substrate, water, nutrients and plant growth regulators.(4) Tissue culture and micropropagation, production techniques for industry.
